Allison E. Moore is Counsel in the Litigation practice group out of the Firm’s office in Denver, Colorado.
Allison represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law with special focus on workplace safety and health related civil, criminal and administrative litigation. With over ten years of experience, she counsels and represents employers on employment policies, administration of paid leave, adaption of executive and public health orders and other legislative and regulatory developments, job-protected leave benefits, workers’ compensation, payroll, benefits, recruiting, hiring, employee relations and performance, discipline and terminations, immigration, civil rights, discrimination, constitutional issues and entitlements. Allison litigates complicated wage and hour law compliance cases, discrimination claims, non-competition, non-solicitation, employment, consulting, severance and settlement agreements before administrative agencies, state, federal and appellate courts. She defends clients in regulatory matters before the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission (OSHRC) and the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission (FMSHRC).
In her workplace safety and health practice, Allison enjoys a special interest in the mining industry, employing her mechanical engineering prowess, to assist operators and contractors—including metal, nonmetal, and coal— to more thoroughly understand and address complex compliance, policy, legislative, regulatory, civil and criminal enforcement, accident investigation and whistleblower claims at the state and federal level.
Prior to her focus on law practice, Allison served as a Diplomatic Security Engineering Officer for the United States Department of State Foreign Service, acquiring formal training in counterintelligence, cyber, physical and technical security, investigative techniques, diplomatic communications and risk management. She consults on matters involving bleeding edge technology, privacy, and compliance with legislation focused on the acceptable behavioral use of technology to protect businesses to avoid and respond appropriately when data is inappropriately accessed or transmitted.
Out of the office Allison can be found either on the tennis court or earning hours towards her next pilot’s certification.
