George E. Chamberlain, IV, is an Associate in the Banking, Manufacturing, and Education industry groups, focusing primarily on labor and employment, commercial litigation, and commercial law matters. He practices out of the Firm’s office in Charleston, West Virginia.

From the banking to manufacturing industries, George has experience advising a broad range of clients. He enjoys helping his clients navigate complex regulatory and statutory guidelines by developing innovative risk management and mitigation strategies. George also has extensive civil litigation experience and enjoys litigating complex civil claims before arbitrators, administrative agencies, and state and federal courts.

One of George’s favorite parts of practicing law is meeting new clients, and it’s obvious his clients like working with him – George was named one of the “10 Best in Client Satisfaction” in the state of West Virginia by the AIOPIA for the 2016-2017 year. His passion for his clients and the law makes him a force to be reckoned with both inside and outside the courtroom.

Looking at George's academic career, it's no wonder his legal star is on the rise. While at the University of Pennsylvania Law School, George served as a Senior Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law and worked as a member of the Entrepreneurship Legal Clinic, where he counseled and advised corporate clients on a variety of legal issues. During his time as an undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame, George honed his public speaking and debate skills through his participation in the University’s National Parliamentary debate team and by working as a local news broadcaster in Southbend, Indiana.

When he’s not serving his clients, you can likely find George exploring the West Virginia wilderness through backpacking, hiking, kayaking, or cycling.
